World War II
Many civilians died during the course of World War II. This graph shows that 62% of all war related deaths were civilians, which is not the same as World War I where most of the deaths were military deaths.
This picture shows a concentration camp in Germany, where thousands of bodies are on the ground. There were many concentration camps in Germany and this shows why there were more civilian deaths than military deaths. This also shows why this was the most deadliest wars anybody has ever seen.
This graph shows the mountain of debt that was formed after World War II. Countries spent way too much money during World War II, which caused this mountain of debt. This weakened the economy greatly.
After World War II the unemployment rate was very high. This graph shows that the unemployment rate in Germany was high, but then it went back down, so unemployment was an immediate result of the war. The German economy was greatly weakened after the war.
